Man Group has appointed David Mercurio as head of Asia equity and co-head of global equity strategies, The Wall Street Journal reports. He will operate primarily out of Man’s Hong Kong office. He will be reporting to Pierre Lagrange, non-executive chairman of Man Asia. Before joining the London-based hedge fund, Mercurio was with Government of Singapore Investment Corp. as a senior portfolio manager, adds Bloomberg.
