IShares has changed the benchmarks of a number its exchange-traded fund (ETFs), FundWeb reports. The funds will change from gross index series to a net index series so tracking error is reduced without affecting the way the funds are managed.

The index of IShares MSCI EM Latin America ETF has been changed from the MSCI EM Latin America index to the MSCI EM Latin America 10/40 index but will not be renamed. Other indexes to change their benchmark series include the IShares FTSE/Epra European Property Index, FTSE Epra/Nareit Asia Property Yield and FTSE Epra/Nareit Developed Markets Property Yield Fund.
