Mafrig Group has sold most of its international fast food logistics assets to a McDonald’s contractor, Financial Times reports. The sale has fetched the Brazilian meat processing group a total of $400 million. The sale of the unit from its subsidiary Keystone Foods to the U.S. Martin-Brower will allow Mafrig and Keystone Foods to focus on their core proteins business and leverage their global competency in beef, pork, poultry and fish processing.
