A Santiago-based wine management and media company is rolling out the first wine private equity fund in Chile, AltAssets reports. The fund will be a joint venture between Pan American Real Estate Group and wine and tourism web site Andes Wines.
The new product seeks to invest about $20 million in Chilean vineyards with medium-term growth potential. The joint venture will provide multiple methods of investment, including turnkey investments in existing vineyards, and start-up investments in vineyards.
