Societe Generale Cross Asset Research has hired Michael Haigh as managing director, global head of commodities research. Based in New York, he will work under Patrick Legland, global head of Societe Generale Cross Asset Research.
Haigh will take over the responsibilities from Frederic Lasserre, who has been appointed managing director, head of commodities investors group. Previously, Haigh was global head of commodities research at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore. He worked for Societe Generale Cross Asset Research from 2007 to 2009.
