America Movil has raised $2.75 billion through a two-part sale of senior notes.

America Movil has raised $2.75 billion through a two-part sale of senior notes, Reuters reports. The first tranche of $2 billion notes, which carry a coupon rate of 2.375 percent, will mature on Sept. 8, 2016.

The second tranche of $750 million notes, carrying a coupon rate of 6.125 percent, will mature on March 30, 2040. Bank of America Corp. and J.P. Morgan were joint bookrunners for the offering.
