CalPERS To Invest $800M In Infrastructure

The California Public Employees’ Retirement System will invest almost $800 million in California’s infrastructure in the next three years.

The California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) will invest almost $800 million in California’s infrastructure in the next three years. The U.S. public pension plan will provide allocation to public as well as private infrastructure in the state. The investment is aimed at generating returns and supporting essential community services for continued economic development, a safe environment and healthy schools and communities. CalPERS will target individual investments equal to or more than $150 million.
