Fidessa group has cleared the vendor certification testing with the new Australian equity trading venue Chi-X. With this, it qualifies to offer full support to both local and international trading communities as Australia opens equities trading to new entrants.
The provider of high-performance trading, investment management and information solutions had recently inked a deal with the Australian Securities Exchange. Under the agreement, Fidessa will give software and technology infrastructure support to ASX Best, a multi-market trading application that allows smart order routing between venues.
