The Danish Growth Capital Fund is ready to make its initial investments in spite of concerns from European funds of funds that it will create an artificial investment environment, Financial News reports. The new fund-of-funds vehicle was set up by the Danish government in January. It seeks to provide capital to domestic mid-market and venture capital funds that struggle to get funding. The €750 million fund has made provisional commitments to May Invest and Sunstone Technology Ventures. Among investors which have provided backing to the vehicle are Denmark’s ATP, F&P and LD Pension.
