The private equity investment division of Citic Securities, Citic Private Equity Funds Management Co. (Citic PE) has rolled out its third private equity fund, Reuters reports. The company is expecting to raise $1.9 billion for the new vehicle.
It is also looking to raise $782 million for its mezzanine fund for which it has already generated $469 billion. At present, Citic PE manages a $1.41 billion yuan local-currency fund and a $1 billion U.S. dollar fund.
