The Texas Permanent School Fund, Austin, is looking to appoint its first deputy director, Pensions & Investments reports. The new candidate will be responsible for managing the investment management and administrative team of the $25 billion fund. Robert Scott, Texas commissioner of education, is planning to hire an executive recruitment firm to help with the search. The agency has issued a request for quotation for executive recruitment firms.
