Lyxor Asset Management has rolled out the first single hedge fund manager on its Ucits Lyxor Dimension Platform, Asia Asset reports. It has entered into a partnership with specialist investment firm Old Mutual Asset Managers (U.K.), which manages $7.5 billion of assets, for launching this vehicle.
The Lyxor/Old Mutual Global Statistical Arbitrage Strategy Index Fund will offer access to a pure alpha strategy managed by Old Mutual. Lyxor is planning to float more Ucits hedge funds in the coming months. It has some $28 billion of assets under management.
