Celoxica has selected Gilles Herfeld as chief technology officer. He will be responsible for full evaluation of the company’s product design and engineering processes for the suite of hardware-accelerated, FPGA-based market data and trade execution products for high-frequency traders.
He will also manage all of Celoxica’s technology engineering, development and enhancement projects. Before joining Celoxica, Herfeld was European head of development for cash and derivatives trading platforms at NYSE Euronext.
