The Jed Foundation has hired John MacPhee as executive director. He will be in charge of planning and execution of the foundation’s goals and activities to support the motive of reducing emotional distress and preventing suicide among college students. MacPhee will succeed Courtney Knowles, who is leaving the position to pursue new opportunities. Knowles will be a consultant to the foundation through the end of the year. Before joining the foundation, MacPhee was president of Strativa Pharmaceuticals.
