Threadneedle Investments has appointed Syed Elias Alhabshi as senior adviser, The Asset reports. Based in Malaysia, he will work alongside Asia-Pacific chairman Raymundo Yu.
Before joining the international asset manager, Alhabshi was group executive director of Realmild (M) between 2006 and 2009. Presently, he is a member of investment committee Amanah Raya REIT, member, board of directors, of BIMB Holdings and director of Fieldstone Capital Group of Cos.
