Shasta Ventures Raises $265M For Fund

Shasta Ventures has raised $265 million for its Shasta Ventures III fund.

Shasta Ventures has raised $265 million for its Shasta Ventures III fund, Business Journal reports. The Menlo Park–based venture capital firm’s investments typically range from $250,000 to $6 million. It will invest up to $12 million over the life of the companies in its portfolio.

University endowments, pension funds and family offices, and a small number of new limited partners provided the investment. The fund’s investment team includes managing directors Tod Francis and Jason Pressman, venture partner Ravi Mohan, principal Sean Flynn, CFO Austin Grose and senior associate Jacob Mullins.
