Goldman Sachs Group has selected Gregg Lemkau for a newly created role of head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for its Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific divisions, The Wall Street Journal reports. He has been co-head of Goldman’s global technology, media and telecom (TMT) group since 2008. Lemkau will be replaced by Anthony Noto, a partner in New York. Noto will be co-head of global TMT along with current co-head George Lee.
