Imperial Capital has appointed James Carmack as a managing director and head of equity sales and trading. He will be based out of the securities brokerage and investment banking firm’s Los Angeles office. Most recently, Carmack was head of U.S. equity sales at Jefferies & Co. He was also a member of the firm’s executive committee.
