Octopus Investments has rolled out a twin-structured venture capital trust (VCT) that will invest mainly in the solar industry, AltAssets reports. The firm will raise £120 million for the VCT, due to close by the end of 2011.
The Octopus VCT 3 and the Octopus VCT 4 will focus on capital preservation and liquidity upon exit. The trust, which allows investors to gain access to stable revenue streams, aims to generate an annual dividend stream of at least 5 percent annually, starting 2013.
