Nordea Eiendomskreditt, a unit of Nordea Bank, has raised $1 billion through a sale of covered notes in the 144a private placement market, Reuters reports. The covered bonds carry a coupon rate of 2.125 percent. The notes will mature on Sept. 22, 2016. Bank of America Corp., Citigroup, Credit Suisse, HSBC Holdings and J.P. Morgan were joint book runners for the deal.
