CalSTRS Invests $335M In Three PE Funds

The California State Teachers’ Retirement System has committed a total of $335 million to three private equity funds.

The California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS) has committed a total of $335 million to three private equity funds, Pensions & Investments reports. The commitments were made in the second quarter.

The system allocated $200 million to buyout fund Centerbridge Capital Partners II and $75 million to equity expansion fund Energy Spectrum Partners VI. It has also committed $60 million to venture capital fund GGV Capital IV.
