Banco Santander To Sell €7.5B In Debt

Banco Santander, Spain’s biggest bank, is seeking to sell up to €7.5 billion worth of short-term notes.

Banco Santander, Spain’s biggest bank, is seeking to sell up to €7.5 billion worth of short-term notes, Fox Business reports. The proceeds from the notes sale will be used to widen its sources of financing.

The securities will have a maturity of between three days and 25 months. Retail investors will be able to purchase into the issue from a €30,000 threshold, while the level is set at €100,000 for institutional investors.
