HSBC Securities Services (HSS) has unveiled its account operator service in Thailand, Asset Servicing Times reports. The service will enable local and cross-border broker dealers to outsource to HSS their securities back-office operations.
Broker dealer clients will still manage all front-office-related tasks, including research, trading and investor servicing, while HSS will act on their behalf in the clearing and settlement of trades executed on the Thailand Stock Exchange. HSS presently offers broker outsourcing services in regions such as Australia and the U.K.
