Edinburgh-based group Martin Currie and Singapore’s APS Asset Management have partnered to create an independent China ‘A’ share and Greater China active equity management business. The prevailing Martin Currie client portfolios will be able to draw on the established capabilities of the APS China investment team. APS will leverage the group’s distribution platform and client management capabilities and will also begin portfolio management for its clients. Martin Currie will be the chief distributor of APS’ products worldwide via its network of offices in Europe, U.S. and Asia.
