Rising one rung to second place is the BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research quartet co-led this year by newcomer Fernando Ferreira, who also helms the No. 1 team in Agribusiness, and Robert Ford, who “is always available to bounce ideas off of,” according to one appreciative investor. The New York–based analysts upgraded Coca-Cola Femsa from neutral to buy in April, at 92 pesos, on rising demand and price hikes. Shares of the Ciudad Santa Fé, Mexico–based soft-drinks bottler bubbled up 23.2 percent, to N$113.30, through July.
