Getco Europe has backed the London Stock Exchange-owned (LSE) trading platform Turquoise, Financial News reports. The London unit of Chicago-headquartered high-frequency trading firm Getco decided to connect to Turquoise after it migrated to new technology.
The migration came after the platform shifted to systems provided by the LSE-owned vendor MillenniumIT in November. Getco Europe is also looking to “sponsor new entrants”.
