Wells Fargo Merges Eight Advantage Funds

Wells Fargo Funds Management has merged its eight advantage funds into other funds within the family.

Wells Fargo Funds Management has merged its eight advantage funds into other funds within the family. The firm has received approval from the board of trustees of the Wells Fargo Advantage Funds for the merger. Additionally, Well Fargo will change the sub-advisers of two funds in the fourth quarter of 2011. Greg Golden may replace Amit Chandra on the Wells Fargo Advantage Disciplined U.S. Core Fund and Brad Ursillo may replace Chandra on the Index Portfolio.
