Indian ETFs Seek Investor Attention

Exchange-traded funds in India have not yet caught the fancy of investors.

Exchange-traded funds in India have not yet caught the fancy of investors, Financial Express reports. One reason for this could be inadequate awareness about the details of the product.

Being less traded, there is also a huge difference in liquidity of the ETFs currently available, such as the Benchmark Nifty BeES which has high liquidity and the Sensex Prudential ICICI ETF with little liquidity. Sensex or Nifty ETFs, gold ETFs and sector-specific ETFs are some of the products available for investors in the Indian market.
