Aviva To Float €300M Renewable Energy Fund

Aviva Investors has partnered with Munich-based asset management company SachsenFonds to roll out the European Renewable Energy Fund.

Aviva Investors has partnered with Munich-based asset management company SachsenFonds to roll out the European Renewable Energy Fund, Environmental Finance reports. The companies are planning to raise a total of €300 million for the fund by the end of 2012.

The 10-year fund will focus on investments in proven technologies in European countries with more established renewable energy regimes. The product is likely to make 15-20 investments, investing €5 million to €30 million of equity per project.
