Chi-East has opted for Equinix’s Singapore 2 International Business Exchange (IBX) as its primary data centre. The participants of the independent Asian trading venue will be able to access the data centre provider’s existing carrier and financial network connectivity infrastructure. The move will provide participants low latency proximity hosting options for the 3,264 securities currently supported on Chi-East’s system. The securities include all Singapore Exchange-listed shares, all Hong Kong Main Board-listed shares, the component stocks of the TOPIX 100 and all listed ETFs in the three markets.
