New York-based blogging service Tumblr is set to raise between $75 million and $100 million in venture capital, The Wall Street Journal reports. Greylock Partners, an investor in Facebook and Groupon, is participating.
The new investment will value the company at $800 million. In December, the company raised $30 million from Sequoia Capital, Spark Capital and Union Square Ventures in an investment that valued the company at $120 million.
