Michael Haigh has joined Societe Generale (SocGen) as managing director and global head of commodities research, Bloomberg reports. In his new role at the French bank, Haigh will be based in New York. He had worked at SocGen from 2007 to 2009 as a senior commodity strategist. He resigned from a similar role at Standard Chartered in Singapore earlier this year. Haigh has also worked with K2 Advisors in New York.
