Aviva Investors has launched the Aviva Investors European Renewable Energy Fund in partnership with Munich-based asset manager SachsenFonds, AltAssets reports. The product will focus on the diversified portfolio of European investments in renewable energy infrastructure. The fund will also aim for commercially proven technologies in the areas of solar photovoltaics and onshore wind as well as other clean energy sectors. Previously, Aviva partnered with SachsenFonds across three existing investment funds which have injected more than €650 million in 30 real estate assets in Europe.
