Mercer senior partner Tom Murphy has been appointed head of U.S. investment management business, Pensions & Investments reports. Murphy will succeed Ken Crotty, who will focus on his other roles as global COO for investment management and investment consulting businesses.
Murphy will also continue as senior partner. Previously, he was head of investment management for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Michael Dempsey, principal and head of Mercer’s investment management business in Ireland, will succeed Murphy as EMEA head.
