New York-based SK Capital Partners has raised $500 million at the first close of its first institutional fund.

New York-based SK Capital Partners has raised $500 million at the first close of its first institutional fund. The SK Capital Partners III, which exceeded its initial target of $400 million, received investments from both international and domestic investors, including public and corporate pension funds, insurance companies, foundations, family offices and funds of funds.

UBS Securities was SK Capital’s placement agent and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius its legal counsel. The transformational private investment firm focuses on control buyouts, recapitalizations and growth equity investments in the specialty materials, chemicals and healthcare sectors.
