Credit Suisse has hired former UBS analyst Yuki Nakayasu to cover Japan’s Internet industry, Bloomberg reports. The bank is also looking for a Japanese banking industry analyst to replace Shinichi Ina, who resigned in July.
Credit Suisse is seeking to expand equity research in the country and increase the number of Japanese companies it studies from 227 to 285. It has also hired an equity strategist whose appointment will be announced at a later date, said Tim Shanagher, head of Japan equity research.
