Schroders Plans U.S. Alpha Plus Fund

Schroders is seeking to roll out a U.S. Alpha Plus fund.

Schroders is seeking to roll out a U.S. Alpha Plus fund, Financial Times reports. The new fund will be managed by the firm’s head of U.S. large-cap equities Joanna Shatney.

The new portfolio will employ the same concentrated, high tracking error approach as the five existing Alpha Plus funds of the firm. These include the £2.9 billion U.K. Alpha Plus fund that is handled by Richard Buxton, the £868.6 million European Alpha Plus fund run by Leon Howard-Spink and the £207 million Asian Alpha Plus fund that Matthew Dobbs handles.
