TurkDEX Electricity Futures Market From Sept
Turkey derivatives exchange TurkDEX is set to roll out a financial futures market for electricity by mid-September.
Turkey derivatives exchange TurkDEX is set to roll out a financial futures market for electricity by mid-September, ICIS reports. The platform, which was likely to be launched at the end of July, allows counterparties to trade monthly baseload and peaks contracts.
The exchange will initially offer month-ahead baseload and three consecutive months of baseload futures contracts. Nearly 99 members have the license to trade any contracts launched by the exchange. An institution has to apply for a license from the Capital Market Board to become a member of the TurkDEX.
