Polish utility PGE has called off a plan to list its green energy unit due to weak market conditions, Reuters reports. The state-run company will not file for its unit’s IPO with Poland’s regulator. PGE had planned to list PGE Energia Odnawialna in the fourth quarter of 2011. The energy unit’s listing would have helped fund the construction of 2.0-2.5 gigawatts in wind-generated capacity by 2020.
