Jorge Mora has joined Macquarie Group as senior managing director and head of its U.S. financial sponsors practice within Macquarie Capital. Most recently, he was working as head of financial sponsors at Lazard, where he was responsible for growing their key sponsor coverage.
Prior to that, he worked with UBS as a managing director in their financial sponsors group and also held roles with Exxel Group and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Macquarie also made certain senior appointments for its U.S. business, including Fehmi Zeko, U.S. head of media and telecommunications, and John Nelson, U.S. head of aerospace and defense.
