SunTrust Banks has appointed Paul Burdiss as its new corporate treasurer. Based in Atlanta, he will manage interest rate risk profile as well as focus on the liquidity, capital management and investment portfolio functions.
In his new role, Burdiss will report to Aleem Gillani, CFO of SunTrust. Prior to this, Burdiss served as executive vice president and treasurer of Comerica Incorporated and Comerica Bank.
