East Africa Gets PepsiCo Foundation Grant

The PepsiCo Foundation has committed a total of $1 million for famine relief efforts in East Africa.

The PepsiCo Foundation has committed a total of $1 million for famine relief efforts in East Africa. The investment will support the efforts of the International Rescue Committee, the World Food Program and Save the Children.

The International Rescue Committee received $500,000 from the foundation, the World Food Program and Save the Children $250,000 each. The foundation will also double match all charitable contributions made by the company’s employees to Horn of Africa famine relief efforts through August 31.
