Morgan Stanley Private Equity (Morgan Stanley PE) has entered a strategic partnership with Denver-based Sterling Energy. The companies have formed a new company Sterling Investment Holdings. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed. Morgan Stanley PE has made a majority equity investment in the newly set up company to support the growth of Sterling Energy’s midstream operations in Colorado and North Dakota.
