Monet has offloaded a 2.5% stake in Indian’s Idea Cellular for $170 million, Reuters reports. The unit of private equity firm ChrysCapital sold nearly 83.5 million shares of the cellular carrier firm.
The First State Asia Pacific Leader Fund has acquired around 41 million Idea shares. Monet held 89.5 million shares, or 2.71% of Idea’s total shares, as of end-June.
