Hyundai has set up charity fund Asan Sharing Foundation, 4-Traders reports. The $470 million foundation will work to ease polarization of Korea and support entrepreneurship among the youth. Chung Mong-joon, a shareholder of Hyundai Heavy Industries, will donate $187 million, which will be 40% of the total foundation fund. Other Hyundai family members will also donate $2 million for the foundation. Additionally, six Hyundai family companies will contribute $258 million, including a donation from Hyundai Heavy Industries worth $222 million.
