Blackstone is aiming to secure nearly $452 million loan, Reuters reports. The global private equity group will use the loan to fund its acquisition of Australia property firm Valad Property Group.

The firm has appointed JP Morgan and National Australia Bank to lead the financing. Blackstone will buy Valad in an agreement valuing the property group at $217.15 million.
