BNY Mellon AM Adds Netherlands Head

BNY Mellon Asset Management has named Lou Cate as managing director in the Netherlands.

BNY Mellon Asset Management has named Lou Cate as managing director in the Netherlands, IPE reports. He will serve as a local representative of the €1 trillion asset manager and be in charge of presenting the firm’s range of capabilities to Dutch pension funds.

Cate was most recently local director at the €150 billion U.K. investment manager Insight Investments, which was acquired by BNY Mellon. Prior to joining Insight Investments, he was co-owner of the strategic advice bureau for pension funds Compendeon.
