Tanzania is set to secure around a $250 million credit facility, Reuters reports. The government will borrow the money from a consortium of banks led by Stanbic Bank. Tanzania will use the proceeds from the loan to finance infrastructure projects. It will also spend on roads, railways and telecoms, and may seek an additional $525 million for similar projects.
