Intel Capital is seeking to invest approximately $500 million in overseas markets, including China, Bloomberg reports. The venture capital unit of the world’s biggest chipmaker Intel invested $327 million in 2010.

Intel Capital has invested a combined $22 million in three Chinese technology companies in 2011, including 6DXchange. The firm has so far invested over $10 billion in more than 1,100 companies.
