Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal has appointed Hal Hirsch as managing director and head of its recently established Global Asset Risk Services group. The practice has been set up to help sovereigns, foundations and corporations in tracing, tracking, quantifying and recovering investments and donations. The global platform offers assistance in situations such as sovereign investments, international military assistance, humanitarian and disaster relief and fraud. Prior to his appointment, Hirsch served as Chairman of the global recovery practice at Greenberg Traurig.
